Microwave Will Not Start

• Door not closed: Open and close the door firmly; check for food debris around the latch area.
• Control lock enabled: Hold the Stop/Cancel or Lock button for several seconds to disable child lock.
• No power: Check the outlet, breaker, fuse, and power cord connection.
• Door switch issue: If the display works but the unit will not start, the door interlock switch may need service.

Microwave Runs but Does Not Heat

• Power level set too low: Confirm the cooking power is set correctly and not in defrost or keep-warm mode.
• Timer-only mode: Make sure the kitchen timer function is not being used instead of microwave cooking.
• High-voltage component fault: Magnetron, diode, capacitor, or transformer issues require professional service.

Turntable, Fan, or Light Problems

• Turntable not rotating: Check the glass tray, roller ring, coupler, and turntable setting.
• Vent fan not working: Clean grease filters and confirm the fan speed control is selected on over-the-range models.
• Interior light out: Replace the bulb only according to the manual; some models require service access.
• Surface light not working: Check bulb type, socket condition, and control setting.

Display, Keypad, and Error Issues

• Keypad not responding: Unplug the unit for 1 minute, then reconnect power to reset the control board.
• Display blank: Check power supply and confirm energy-saving or display-off mode is not enabled.
• Error code showing: Refer to the model-specific manual for sensor, keypad, or control board codes.
• Clock resets: Check for loose outlet power or breaker interruptions.

Cooking and Sensor Problems

• Food cooks unevenly: Stir or rotate food, use microwave-safe containers, and avoid oversized dishes blocking the turntable.
• Sensor cooking fails: Keep the interior clean and avoid covering food too tightly during sensor cycles.
• Sparking inside: Remove metal, foil, twist ties, damaged racks, or chipped cookware immediately.
• Burning smell: Clean food splatter, grease buildup, and waveguide cover area after the unit cools.
